I wanted to write out the Auction Rules here so that there is no confusion about what is allowed, what isn't, etc.
In no particular order:
1. All times are in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
2. Emails are required to be public in EVERYONE'S profile (though if you like, you may write it out as katbird76@NOSPAMgmail.com, etc.).
3. Bids are binding - Do not bid if you do not intend on following through. Also, be aware that Administrators of this bulletin board can see EVERYONE'S email - whether hidden or not - as well as your IP address, so if need be, we can track you down.
4. No refunds or retractions will be honored on posted bids.
5. The Administrators and Moderators of the TB Rescue Auctions BB do not assume liability for any problems or disputes that may arise between the winning bidders and item or service donors, stallion owners or other parties.
6. Live animals (horses, dogs, cats, etc.) are not allowed to be auctioned off in our auctions - ONLY items are allowed.
7. If we learn that anyone has not followed through with their auction payment, that individual will be banned from participation in the next auction. Period.
8. All offerers should wait until the method of payment fully clears before shipping any item. Alas, there are those out in cyberland who are quite unscrupulous and have no problem with scamming a charity auction. All offerers should immediately report any scammer to the Administrators of this auction forum
9. Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the winning bidder, unless otherwise noted..
OK, now having said that, if anyone has ANY questions about any of those rules, please let Jessie P, or Freebird know! Also, let us know if you think of any more points to add.
